HUAYE-301 Repair Adhesive
High-Strength Rubber Repair | 3-Component System | Tested & Certified | Mfr. Huaye Transportation Machinery Sales Center

Product Overview
HUAYE-301 is a professional-grade, three-component rubber repair adhesive designed for rapid restoration of damaged conveyor belt surfaces. With wear resistance 2-3x that of standard conveyor belt compounds and certified mechanical performance, it delivers long-lasting repairs that minimize downtime in mining, port, power generation, and bulk-material handling operations.
Certified Performance Data (Batch 2-6)
| Test Item | Unit | Requirement | Measured | Result | Industrial Significance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tensile Strength | MPa | ≥ 25 | 30 | PASS | Ensures the repair zone withstands dynamic tension and material impacts. |
| Peel Strength | N/mm | ≥ 10 | 13 | PASS | Provides ultra-strong bonding to substrate; avoids edge peeling or delamination. |
| Elongation at Break | % | ≥ 400 | 440 | PASS | High flexibility; flexes synchronously around pulleys without cracking. |
| Right-Angle Tear Strength | kN/m | ≥ 60 | 75 | PASS | Strongly resists tearing and gouging from sharp bulk materials. |
| Hardness (Shore A) | - | 70 - 80 | 76 | PASS | Matches original belt hardness perfectly to balance wear and flexibility. |
Curing Profile (At 25°C)
- Pot Life: 5 - 8 minutes (Std. 7 min. Must apply immediately after mixing)
- Light Load Time: 2 hours (Allows belt to run empty or with light load)
- Full Load Time: 4 hours (Fully cured and ready for maximum heavy-duty tonnage)
Packaging & Components
| Component | Description | Net Weight | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Component A (Main Adhesive) | Metal can | 440 g | Base resin |
| Component B (Hardener) | Small bottle | 22 g | Curing agent (1/20 of Component A by weight) |
| Component C (Primer) | Small bottle + powder | - | Surface primer for rubber activation |
Usage Instructions (4-Step Process)
- Grinding: Use a tungsten steel grinding disc to thoroughly roughen the damaged rubber surface of the conveyor belt. Avoid belt discoloration, brightening, or burning the rubber substrate.
- Surface Treatment: Pour the powder from the cap of the Component C (primer) bottle into the liquid bottle, and shake until fully dissolved. Apply the mixed primer to the treated rubber surface and let it dry completely for 15 minutes.
- Mixing: Mix Component A and Component B strictly in a 20:1 ratio by weight. Stir thoroughly within 1 minute, and apply immediately within its 5-8 minute pot life window. Prepare only the quantity needed immediately.
- Application: Spread the mixed adhesive onto the target zone with a rubber scraper or a short-bristle brush. Keep the single coating thickness within 2 mm. For deep cuts, apply in multiple sequential layers.
Important Handling, Storage & Precautions
- Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry location away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Ensure adequate ventilation at the work site during mixing and application.
- Low Temperature Warning: When ambient temperature drops below 15°C (59°F), the chemical curing mechanism decelerates. To accelerate curing, you can apply mild, even external heating using a heat gun or an infrared lamp after application. Ensure the heating zone temperature never exceeds 40°C (104°F) to avoid thermal degradation of the rubber substrate.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in sealed, dry conditions at room temperature.
Typical Applications
- Surface gouges, cuts, and deep scratches on EP (polyester-nylon), steel-cord, and rubber conveyor belts.
- Large-area rubber surface erosion caused by highly abrasive bulk materials (coal, ore, sand, gravel, clinker).
- Impact damage and punctures at loading chutes in mining and quarrying operations.
- Edge cracking and delamination repair on belt sidewalls.
