What Is HUAYE-3201 Cold Repair Adhesive?
HUAYE-3201 is a high-strength cold repair adhesive developed for repairing damaged rubber conveyor belts. Unlike traditional hot repair methods, it cures at ambient temperature, making it an ideal solution for emergency maintenance and routine belt repairs. It is suitable for repairing surface wear, cuts, cracks, small gouges, edge damage, and localized rubber defects. Its excellent adhesion and wear resistance help extend conveyor belt service life while reducing maintenance costs.

Tools Required
Before beginning the repair, prepare the following tools:
- HUAYE-3201 Cold Repair Adhesive
- Cartridge dispensing gun
- Angle grinder
- Scraper
- Protective gloves
The Repair Procedure
Step 1 – Grind the Damaged Area
Use an angle grinder to remove loose rubber and roughen the damaged surface. Continue grinding until the repair area has a uniform rough texture. Proper surface preparation significantly improves adhesive bonding strength.
Step 2 – Remove Dust and Debris
After grinding, carefully remove all dust, rubber particles, and loose debris. The repair surface must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants before adhesive application.
Note: HUAYE-3201 does not require a cleaning solvent under normal repair conditions. Simply ensure the surface is clean and free of loose material.
Step 3 – Inject HUAYE-3201 Adhesive
Load the HUAYE-3201 cartridge into the dispensing gun. Apply the adhesive evenly along the damaged area while maintaining a steady injection speed. Ensure the adhesive completely fills every crack, cut, or cavity without leaving air pockets or gaps.
Step 4 – Level the Repair Surface
Immediately after application, use a scraper to press and smooth the adhesive. The repaired surface should be level with the surrounding conveyor belt to reduce material buildup and ensure smooth belt operation.
Step 5 – Allow the Adhesive to Cure
Leave the repaired belt undisturbed at room temperature for 1–2 hours. After curing, the conveyor belt can be returned to normal operation. Although the repair is operational after curing, the adhesive continues to develop strength and reaches its maximum bonding performance after approximately 24 hours.
